With the latest public beta (0.1.1001+), we've added an experimental option to make 90 FPS reprojection smoother when running SteamVR with Windows Mixed Reality. If you choose to enable motion reprojection, all Steam VR games will render nominally at ½ frame rate (45 FPS instead of 90 FPS) while Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR uses motion vectors generated by the GPU to extrapolate the next ... Nov 28, 2016 · I also disable SteamVR’s asynchronous reprojection as with it on then my fps is locked to 45 but with it off I can get up to 90fps. Can anyone advise me if I need to change any settings either in the config or SteamVR to achieve better performance? I am using DirectX 11 as well. Thanks.

Interleave Reprojection is a new feature for SteamVR. It cuts the games framerate in half if it detects dropped frames. The feature is there to increase performance. This feature can have a negative effect on certain games, causing bugs to occur.
